In these turbulent times, the public needs to be extra vigilant and ready for whatever comes their way. As the old saying goes:
Hope for the best – Be prepared for the worst.
In response, the ADOM PROJECT was formed.
The ADOM PROJECT was started by a group of medical students/ medical professionals who came together and are applying their previous medical experiences and knowledge to prepare communities for G-D forbid violent hate crimes against shuls and yeshivas when all else fails. “We must remain PROACTIVE & not REACTIVE when it comes to saving the lives of our community” is their motto.
The goal of the organization is to equip Shuls and Schools with specialized* public access bleed control kits which include the latest in bleed control device technology. Their *Bleed control kits have been specially developed in partnership with NORTH AMERICAN RESCUE INC®️
The kits they provide are equipped to handle the worst situations and are equipped to control extreme hemorrhage, one of the leading causes of death in traumatic injuries. The moments before help arrives are critical, and these can be vital to saving lives.
In addition, the Adom Project’s certified volunteers are collaborating with local Hatzolah’s to provide quality training at no cost. Training will be made available to schoolteachers, Shul members, and all other available hands, creating vital team assets in case of an emergency.
The focus of the project is to place these kits in as many schools, synagogues, and all other religious institutions as possible. They personalize kits to suit each establishment. Ordering kits is easy and inexpensive. With the help of the public, they can provide lifesaving tools and training to communities in the event of an attack. God forbid.
